Brilliant: IcyBreeze Launches A New Cooler That Actually Cools You
BIXBY, Okla., Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- IcyBreeze launches a premium ice cooler that doubles as an eco-friendly, portable air conditioner. The product uses the outside air and the ice-water in the cooler to cool users. Co-inventor's Clint Donaldson and Dave Yonce say, "We were suffering with our families through the hot Oklahoma sun at youth baseball games and camping with a cooler full of cold drinks, when (the idea) hit us."
"We are able to provide all the benefits of a cooler, plus true air conditioning in a compact and portable unit that has no Freon or chemicals and gives off no harmful exhaust," says Andrew Jenkins, IcyBreeze CEO and President. With ice and a little bit of water, this 38-quart cooler can blast dry, cold air from the inside out. Many people are surprised at how well IcyBreeze cools, pumping out a 25-mph breeze at temperatures 35 degrees cooler than the outside air temperature.
The air conditioner is powered by an internal rechargeable 12V battery that keeps the cold air running up to 6 hours on the low setting with a single charge. The cooler can be used in any location: a picnic, camping, sporting events, on boats, or even in the cockpit of a small airplane.
An IcyBreeze cooler was recently featured on The View, the popular talk show that airs on ABC, and has been featured on Anya's Gift Guide on CBS. IcyBreeze coolers are also sold in SkyMall.
The IcyBreeze is now available at www.icybreeze.com and is the first truly-portable air conditioner/cooler that meets high standards. IcyBreeze makes its tradeshow debut at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City on August 6th-9th, 2014 in the Pavilion @ PV3191.
