A 4,000 strong fleet of BMWs will be provided for Olympic organisers during the Games – with special golden BMWs touring the UK during the Olympic torch relay. However, data from car finance and dealer specialist carfinance247.co.uk reveals that:
- 29% of all used cars bought in the last year* have been black;
- 27% have been silver;
- 19% have been blue.
The data also highlighted the three most popular brands of used vehicle that were bought with car finance in the same period:
- Vauxhall 28.5%;
- Ford 10%;
- BMW 9%.
Overall, a black Vauxhall Astra SXI, with an average value of 6,550 pounds, was the most popular brand, model and colour of car sold.
