Brits Can't Get Enough of Vintage Goods

Statistics from Past Times, a store specialising in retro gifts, clothing and accessories, highlight a huge increase in interest in vintage products in recent months.  

Examining the volume of traffic coming to their website from Google (that contained the search word 'vintage'), Past Times found a whopping 44% annual increase for Q2 2012.

Searches for the term 'vintage' in Google's UK search engine have increased in total by 32% since the end of 2010. (source: Google Insights for Search)

Past Times have also reported a huge increase in traffic to their site from SEO searches for specific vintage items over the same period:

  • 'Vintage Homeware' increased in visits by 300%

  • Visits for 'Vintage jewellery', one of the store's most popular categories of products, saw an increase of 350%
