Brixton waits for oil production numbers
CALGARY, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ - (TSXV: BRX) Brixton Energy Corp. ("Brixton") is pleased to announce the following corporate strategy for its Panny 8-25-095-05 W5M well. It was management's belief that the pipeline that the Panny well was tied in to would not allow it to produce at its fullest potential due to the back pressure by third party facilities. Brixton has disconnected the well from the pipeline and plumbed in two 400 Bbl tanks that the Company has purchased. Panny well was successfully started on February 25, 2011 at 7 pm MST. The well is currently flow testing to these tanks to obtain accurate production measurements. Brixton will announce flow rates once the testing phase is complete, for which the Company elected a 14 day test period.
President Richard Saxon states: "Management is pleased with the strategy that we executed. Preliminary test results indicated that the volume of fluid has increased significantly from our last known test".
