Broadview University Lowers Tuition, Launches New Learning Model to Help Working Adults Manage Full-Time Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Broadview University (BVU) is reinforcing its commitment to helping more students graduate and achieve their career goals with the new CareerPath initiative.  Beginning in January, BVU will lower tuition in most programs by 25-percent and unveil a new class schedule to help students more easily balance work, school and life.

"Statistics show students are far more likely to graduate when they are enrolled in school full-time. But we know that can be difficult for a majority of today's students who are also working adults, in many cases with families," says Dr. Shana Weiss, Globe Education Network Academic Dean. "This new model provides them a structured, more manageable class load, and a clear, guided path to graduation."

BVU will continue to offer the same high quality education with a more focused approach. Many classes will now be offered in six-week sessions within the quarter, offering students the opportunity to take a full-time course load while focusing on fewer subjects at a time.  There will also be a wider selection of hybrid courses, combining hands-on classroom experiences with online learning.  Applied learning will remain a staple in the curriculum, providing students the opportunity to apply their classroom skills in real-world settings and connect with local employers.

As part of this commitment to helping students reach graduation sooner, BVU will be further reducing undergraduate tuition for full-time students in most programs. Undergraduate students who take 14 or more credits a quarter will now pay 13-percent less than those taking 12-13 credits, and 25-percent less than part-time students.
