Broan China Opens Showroom and Asia Pacific Operations Center in Shanghai
Celebrates grand opening of its first showroom with special event and donation to youth center
HARTFORD, Wis., Feb. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Broan Building Products China ("Broan China"), a Nortek, Inc. company (Nasdaq: NTK), recently hosted the grand opening of its first showroom in China, as well as its new Asia Pacific operations center. More than 120 guests were in attendance for the grand opening, including Broan-NuTone executives, key Chinese developers and distributors, and the media.

The showroom showcases Broan's commitment to developing superior, innovative products that enhance indoor air quality, specifically those products that respond to clean air needs in China. One such product is the New Generation Air Purifier, the latest innovation from Broan to provide advanced air purification technology. The air purifier, which launched in July 2015, allows consumers to enjoy clean filtered air in their homes through a permanently installed solution that is quieter and more energy efficient than traditional units.
To further celebrate the showroom grand opening, as well as the brand's dedication to improving air quality, Broan China donated 20 air purifiers to the youth center of Hongkou District in Shanghai.
Broan China invited 60 children to visit the showroom and learn more about air quality through various activities, including the "Broan Fresh Air" knowledge contest. After the visit, the children were invited to write down or draw what they had learned from their trip. The resulting illustrations and messages are displayed in the showroom.
