By leveraging Ruckus SmartMesh™ wireless technology, it is now possible to deploy self-organizing and healing networks specifically suited for video applications. This allows for robust video delivery with a high level of tamper resistance and low latency video monitoring functionality at sites where traditional wired connectivity is not available. IP cameras can now be installed for permanent or temporary placement alongside wireless access points, without any need to run dedicated wired backhaul to the location.

The ability to co-locate equipment and share backhaul enables venues and integrators to more easily plan their security and networking requirements and manage these systems over a common secure network infrastructure.
