Brother Jimmy's Announces Expansion Plans To West Palm Beach And Roosevelt Field Mall On Long Island

NEW YORK, March 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dining Entertainment Group (DEG), the parent company of Brother Jimmy's, announced today that it will open two additional properties outside of New York City in mid-March. The two new restaurants will be located in Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City on Long Island and in West Palm Beach, FL.

The Brother Jimmy's on Long Island will adopt a new fast casual concept within the Roosevelt Field Mall Dining District. This Brother Jimmy's location will be the company's first quick service venue, with a slightly different menu from their full scale restaurants. The new Carolina-inspired dishes are developed by Corporate Executive Chef Eva Pesantez and include the Pulled Pork and Pulled Chicken HoeCakes, Smoked Meatballs, and Spare Ribs. Brother Jimmy's Roosevelt Field Mall will be the only location within the mall's Dining District with its own private dining section, as well as the only vendor to have a Wine & Beer license. Roosevelt Field is known nationally as New York's largest and best destination for sophisticated shopping and entertainment, and is one of the largest malls in the United States.

West Palm Beach in Florida will be home to Brother Jimmy's brand new 6,500 square-foot property. The restaurant will be located in upscale lifestyle center City Place, which is on South Rosemary Avenue. City Place marks the center of Downtown West Palm Beach and offers a mix of more than 80 national stores, specialty shops, and restaurant and entertainment venues. The new venue will be open daily for lunch and dinner, and will have the capacity for 185 seats and two bars with 24 TVs. West Palm Beach Brother Jimmy's will offer the legendary North Carolina slow-smokin' barbeque that the restaurant brand is known for, with signature dishes such as the Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich, Northern & Southern Style Ribs, Bucket O' Hot Wings & Brother Jimmy's BBQ Nachos. Popular sides include the Fried Okra, Macaroni & Cheese, & Collard Greens.
