Brown & Toland Physicians Named "Elite" Medical Group for Eighth Consecutive Year

SAN FRANCISCO, June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Brown & Toland Physicians achieved the highest possible "elite" status in the California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG) Standards of Excellence survey of nationwide physician groups for the eighth year in a row. The San Francisco independent practice association has earned the top-tier ranking since the association began evaluating medical groups in 2006.

The Standards of Excellence survey is a voluntary self-assessment of how well-equipped and structured physician groups are at delivering excellent patient experiences, improved population health and increased affordability. Results are based on performance in the following six categories:
