As Brits across the country get ready to proclaim their love for one another this weekend, new research from Budget Car Rental reveals the positive impact that spending a weekend with a loved one has on our happiness.
The poll of 7,000 people across seven European countries, found that 80% of British couples have a brighter outlook on life after a great weekend together, while 48% say they feel more refreshed and over half (57%) feel friendlier.
Spending the weekend together doesn't have to cost the earth, with British couples shelling out an average of £184 to make their weekend great. To help make couples' money go further this Valentine's Day, Budget is offering customers a third off car hire all weekend.
Budget's Love Bug promotion reduces the cost of car hire by up to 34%, over any weekend until the 29th of March. To redeem the offer, customers simply need to visit the Budget UK website on http://www.budget.co.uk.
