SANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nicalis, Inc., a publisher known for its work on critically-acclaimed titles such as The Binding of Isaac, 1001 Spikes and Cave Story, today announced the sidescrolling role-playing adventure game Creepy Castle will release on October 31 on Windows PC via Steam for $14.99.
Developed by Dopterra, Creepy Castle follows the arduous journey of four plucky adventurers, as they investigate a conspiracy welling deep within the stone walls of an ancient castle. Featuring vibrant art, Creepy Castle is comprised of four multi-hour scenarios, each taking players on an entirely unique adventure. With its own characters, story and gameplay, it's up to you to piece together the mysteries of Creepy Castle!
Inside the castle, explore countless floors and battle it out with a multitude of enemies and bosses, each with a unique turn-based combat system. During enemy encounters, there are chances to engage into quick skill-based mini-games called Duels. Players can then use the element of dexterity and timing to win the duel which allows them to damage their opponent and give them an advantage. But be careful! Each enemy has its own type of Duel and special twists that they bring to battle!
Seek out all of the secrets of the castle and inspect various dusty tomes containing words of wisdom and lore which all help to shed light onto the mysteries that lurk within the castle walls. Players can also customize the game interface to their liking! Choose from various game interface skins, screen filters and even health bars and hearts for both the player and enemies to completely customize your user interface.
