Build Group Unveils First Advertising Based Revenue-Generating Canopy Structure, the Solumbria™ Message Center, at Intersolar North America Moscone Center, San Francisco July 10-12, 2012

SAN FRANCISCO, July 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Build Group, Inc. (www.buildgc.com) today announced the company will launch their much-anticipated add-on product, the Solumbria™ Message Center (SMC), next week at Intersolar North America. The industry's first revenue-generating advertising and messaging system provides owners of solar canopy installations creative new ways to enhance ROI. According to Build Group Principals, owners can cut payback periods 50% or more by capitalizing on advertising revenues afforded by the SMC.

Once plentiful state and federal grants or rebates making investment in solar possible have dwindled. This decline in governmental subsidization coupled with low ROI, long payback periods and increasingly lower Fossil Fuel based energy costs has resulted in traditional solar support structures becoming economically less viable than in previous years. The SMC creates new opportunities in solar energy by providing revenue-generating opportunities that maximize ROI, increase project based revenue and cut payback periods significantly.

The SMC visual LED display assembly is directly integrated into the primary structure. The assembly is cylindrical in shape, weatherproof, theft-proof and generates static and dynamic scroll or fade in/out imagery and messaging. Linked to RSS feeds and vendor specific content including social media and major advertising industry players, the SMC revolutionizes the solar carport industry. The Center is powered by conventional, grid-based electricity and/or photovoltaic or other renewable energy.
