Builders Insurance (A Mutual Captive Company) Board of Directors Elect Two Additional Members

ATLANTA, Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Builders Insurance (A Mutual Captive Company) announced today that its Board of Directors had elected two additional members to the Board, effective immediately.  The two new Directors are Charles Potok and Salvatore Correnti.

Mr. Potok is a retired President of Companion Property & Casualty Group, a South Carolina-based property/casualty insurance and service provider with over $850 million in assets. He was previously employed by the South Carolina Department of Insurance as Chief Actuary and Director of the property/casualty division.  Mr. Potok is a recognized expert in property and casualty insurance and managed care.  He was a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society.  Potok has also served on the boards of the NCCI Holdings, South Carolina Property and Casualty Guaranty Association, and the South Carolina Medical Malpractice Joint Underwriting Association.

Mr. Correnti spent his early career at USF&G Insurance, a multi-line insurer, where he eventually became Executive Vice President of Asset Liability Management and Investment Strategy.  Between 1998 and 2002, Mr. Correnti served as Head of Third Party Asset Management for Swiss Re.  Following his carrier career, Mr. Correnti was CEO of Conning Asset Management until his retirement in 2012.  He remains on the Board of Directors of Conning.
