Burroughs Announces the SmartSource Elite Series of Distributed Capture Devices

The new SmartSource Elite Series includes the SmartSource Professional Elite, the SmartSource Merchant Elite and the SmartSource ReceiptNOW Elite, all ideal for teller and remote deposit capture applications.

The SmartSource Professional Elite incorporates the best features of the highly popular SmartSource Professional but is more compact in size and economical than competitive scanners. With a throughput of 155 documents per minute, the SmartSource Professional Elite provides the speed necessary to process large deposits. Standard features include ID card scanning and a high-resolution, 4-line rear ink-jet endorser for printing text, logos and graphics.

As the name implies, the SmartSource Merchant Elite is optimized further for merchant or remote deposit capture applications. With a speed of 55 documents per minute and no endorser, the SmartSource Merchant Elite is ideal for remote deposit capture applications requiring the processing of small or large batches of documents.

The SmartSource ReceiptNOW Elite printer is a high-performance thermal receipt printer designed to fit under a SmartSource Professional Elite scanner without requiring any additional desktop space.
