Hire Our Heroes Connects Companies And Veterans During July 25 Virtual Career Fair
LEESBURG, Va., July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- A win-win opportunity for employers and American veterans will occur on Wednesday, July 25 -- a virtual career fair sponsored by Hire Our Heroes.

The 3rd Annual Hire Our Heroes Virtual Career Fair for veterans will be held on July 25 between noon and 3 p.m. Eastern Time (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific Time).
"American veterans made countless sacrifices for their nation," said Dan Caporale, the president of Leesburg, Va.-based Hire Our Heroes, an organization operated by veterans for veterans. "The veterans we help risked their lives for Americans' freedom and safety. They also sacrificed years, money, job opportunities, and chances to be with their families. I'm tempted to say that employers have a chance on July 25 to reward veterans for their sacrifices, but the truth is that the veterans have a chance to reward employers because they will be great employees."
Virtual career fairs are a unique opportunity for employers and employees because they're held online and, thus, don't require participants to travel to meet each other. In a virtual career fair, an employer can communicate information about jobs via chat rooms, email, teleconferences, webcasts, and webinars. The Silver option includes a customizable booth, eight kinds of information inside the booth such as videos and job postings, the ability to receive resumes from the veterans, and up to 10 postings and four recruiters. The Gold option includes what a Silver option does but it allows companies up to 15 postings instead of 10. The Platinum option allows companies up to 25 postings and six recruiters and also gives companies the privilege of identifying themselves to veterans as an exclusive sponsor of the career fair and a better location -- "in the top row position in the event lobby that you can build out to match your brand."
