Butler Snow Law Firm Donates $100,000 to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts

NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC – which recently expanded its Nashville office by nearly 40 attorneys – today donated $100,000 to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, reinforcing the firm's community involvement as it grows its presence in the city.

Tenn. Gov. Bill Haslam, Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, former Miss. Gov. Haley Barbour, former U.S. Rep. John Tanner and other officials attended an event called "Embracing the Arts. Impacting the Community" at the Frist Center, which celebrated Butler Snow's Nashville expansion and growing roots in the city. Clark and Dan H. Elrod, a leading member of Butler Snow's Nashville team, presented the check to Susan H. Edwards, executive director and chief executive officer of the Frist Center. Business leaders, community representatives and dignitaries also attended the event.

The $100,000 donation will be used to broaden the Frist Center's outreach globally.

Butler Snow recently expanded its Nashville office, as 37 attorneys joined the firm, bringing the total number of attorneys in Tennessee to almost 100. Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, located at 919 Broadway in downtown Nashville, Tenn., is an art exhibition center dedicated to presenting the finest visual art from local, regional, U.S. and international sources in a program of changing exhibitions.
