Buy On-Line Now to Save Big on June Visits to Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom

AURORA, Ohio, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Huge savings are now available on a June visit to Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom during Spring Fling at the Aurora, Ohio, outdoor waterpark.  An on-line Spring Fling ticket is now available through Monday, May 31 for only $19.99 (plus applicable taxes), a savings of more than $7 per ticket.  

The single-day, Spring Fling ticket to the 17-acre waterpark can be purchased online at wildwaterfun.com.  These special Spring Fling tickets can be used any day the park is open in June 2010.  However, these tickets must be purchased in May.  Tickets for Juniors, age 3 and older, under 48 inches tall in bare feet, and Seniors, age 62 and older, are $12.99 (plus applicable taxes).  Children, age 2 and under, are free.

In June, Wildwater Kingdom will be open daily, Saturday, June 5 through Wednesday, June 30.  The park will open for the season on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday through Monday, May 29-31.  Wildwater Kingdom will also be open daily July 1 through Aug. 22 and will reopen for the weekend of Aug. 28-29 and Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4-6.

At Wildwater Kingdom, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of activities including an assortment of water slides and special attractions such as the massive Tidal Wave Bay wave pool, the 60-foot-tall Liquid Lightning tornado slide and Thunder Falls, Ohio's tallest water slide complex.

There will be even more to do this summer when Wildwater Kingdom will add a new play area for young families.

Joining Little Tikes Town, the themed play area that was introduced last summer, will be The Beach Family Fun Area.  This new area will feature a giant Checker and Chess board with movable playing pieces such as knights, rooks and pawns.  Adding to the fun will be an arcade and special games designed just for kids as well as a sandy beach area overlooking Geauga Lake where families can play in the sand or relax.

The Spring Fling ticket is valid only for June visits, but can be used with an upgrade to regular price for a visit to Wildwater Kingdom on any other 2010 operating date.
