BYUtv Names Industry Veterans Andra Johnson Duke and Ian Puente to Senior Management Team

PROVO, Utah, Sept. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Brigham Young University Broadcasting (BYUB) today announced it has appointed broadcasting industry professionals Andra Johnson Duke as Director of Content and Ian Puente as Director of Operations and Strategy.

Ms. Duke comes to BYUB from BBC Worldwide Productions in Los Angeles where she was the Vice President of Unscripted Production. In that role, she oversaw a variety of television series across multiple networks from development through production. Prior to the BBC, she worked in various producer roles with GRB Entertainment in Sherman Oaks, Calif. and at BYU Broadcasting, as well as Kaleidoscope Pictures in Provo, Utah. Ms. Duke is a graduate of BYU and she and her husband, Steve, have three children.

Mr. Puente has been hired in a newly created position at BYUB, Director of Operations and Strategy. He was formerly with EPIX, a premium movie and programming service in New York, where he was the senior vice president of business and legal affairs. His previous industry experience includes stints with Samuel Goldwyn Films and Sony Pictures Classics. Mr. Puente is a graduate of BYU, the University of Oxford and Columbia University school of law. He and his wife Melissa have four boys and a girl.
