MALDEN, Mass., Aug. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CableJive redesigned its dockBoss air, an adapter that converts iPod or iPhone docks into wireless speakers, to deliver significantly improved sound clarity with increased volume range. dockBoss air is a wireless music receiver for use with iPod and iPhone speaker docks made pre-iPhone 5. The new dockBoss air measures 1.7"W x 1.2"H and offers supreme quality sound and a seamless user experience.

CableJive simplified the set up process and added indicator lights and tones to confirm a proper connection. Unlike many wireless receivers that require a code to establish a connection, dockBoss air pairs automatically when it is selected on the Bluetooth device and reconnects each time the device is within a 10m (33 feet) range. Additionally, dockBoss air can pass-through signals from a speaker dock's remote control and is compatible with all 30-pin speaker docks (not including some digital audio systems).
