(Nasdaq: CADX) today announced that its underwriters partially exercised their over-allotment option in connection with its previously announced public offering that priced on November 11, 2010, by purchasing an additional 1,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $8.00 per share. Including the over-allotment shares purchased, Cadence sold a total of 12,500,000 shares in the offering, resulting in expected aggregate gross proceeds to the company of $100 million.
Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. acted as sole book-running manager for the offering. Leerink Swann LLC acted as co-lead manager, and JMP Securities, Wedbush PacGrow Life Sciences and Canaccord Genuity Inc. acted as co-managers for the offering.
