MORRO BAY, Calif., April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Valentina Petrova, is holding an essay contest to give away the Holistic Movement Center, a yoga studio she established in 2002. The winner of the essay contest will get a turn-key profitable business and up to $2,000 cash to help them in the transition.
Contest entry deadline is June 30, 2015. The winner will be announced by July 20 and after accepting the prize will have 30 days to take over. The entry fee for the contest is $108.
The yoga studio is profitable and has no debt, taxes due, liens, or any other financial issues. Recently renovated, this 1400 sq ft. studio can fit up to 22 students in the yoga room. Four massage therapists rent the two massage rooms. It has two bathrooms, a lobby, and a retail area and is ADA accessible. All fixtures and equipment are in new or like-new condition. The studio averaged $98,000 in annual income for the past three years and received a $65,000 valuation.
Valentina Petrova is graduating in June with a Master's in Psychology and needs to part with the studio in order to pursue a new career path. Instead of selling and not having control over who the new owner will be, she decided to offer this contest and find the best person to succeed her. The local community will be involved in the selection process. One deserving, talented person with passion for yoga and business acumen will be able to live their dream and tell a great story. Valentina hopes that the new owner will eventually pay it forward the same way when their time comes to move on.
