California's Great America Halloween Haunt All You Fear is Here!

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Park has been overrun by the forces of the night, ready to bring on an overwhelming fright.  It's Halloween Haunt and everyone is entitled to a good scare, so join us as your worst nightmares come true, because at California's Great America's Halloween Haunt "All You Fear is Here".  Oh, yes there will be blood, and things you can only dream of.  Only this is no dream, its really happening.  The blood curdling horror and mind-bending terror of Halloween Haunt features more than 500 ghastly creatures emerging from the darkness, six spine-tingling haunted mazes, three themed scare zones, one themed attraction, five head-turning live stage shows plus Great America's thrill-rides and attractions will also remain open for Halloween Haunt as well.  Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, September 30th through October 30th, from 7 p.m. until midnight, Halloween Haunt will beckon brave souls to take on their most horrible fears.

The 4th Annual Halloween Haunt will be better than ever and more intense than ever with the addition of two new shows "Zombies Gone Viral" and "Blood Drums" as well as the all-new SlaughterHouse Annihilation maze, and the new and improved Dead Man's Cove – Forsaken Souls scare zone.

MAZES

All new SlaughterHouse Annihilation – it's a virtual cornucopia of bloody remains as parts are ground into a tasty meat treat, using a very special recipe which includes a very special ingredient ...You.  

Returning mazes include the Toy Factory which takes guests through a factory where your favorite toys have now been turned against you, or you've been turned into one of them, or take on childhood nightmares with demonic clowns and other freaks of nature at CarnEvil, dance the night and life away at Club Blood, venture through Werewolf Canyon where hunters have become the hunted and avoid a cult of evil scarecrows that lie in wait in a path of overgrown debris at CornSTALKERS.

Black Widow's Cavern – Dare to enter the old creepy cavern of fright, once a logger's run, now abandoned and overrun by deadly spiders.  Get caught in the web of the horrific arachnids as you travel the trough of terror on the old logger's path of doom.  There are places that man was never meant to go, and this has turned into one of them.

SCARE ZONES

Scattered throughout the park, guests will also encounter monsters and other terrifying creatures of the night in three themed scare zones. The forces of darkness manifest themselves in a strange collection of freaks and oddities fueled by the haunting melodies of the near by CarnEvil.  There is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide in this playground of terror know as The Gauntlet, the Army of the Dead is awakened from their graves, looking to wreak havoc on those brave enough to enter their graveyard in Underworld Alley, and cold-blooded pirates with creatures from the depths of the Abyss will be in search of a different type of treasure – your soul in Dead Man's Cove Forsaken Souls.  You'll be safe from everything... except your fears of what lurks in the dim shadows!

SHOWS

The all new "Zombies Gone Viral - The best music video ever, Live on stage! will take you on a voyage through this intense stage show integrating Music, Dance and Un-Dead action.  C'mon feel the noise as we welcome you to our jungle and travel through our Highway to Hell.  Then, let our un-dead dancers shake you all night long and kick start your heart!   It's going to consume you!

Blood Drums (New in 2011) Out of the beauty of the night Blood Drums is tapping into the simple and complex rhythms of fright.  You will find yourself being taken away to a magical and frightening place.  Blood Drums a mesmerizing amalgamation of cadence and sound. Shocking Side Show of Freaks it's all real – freakish acts that take the human tolerance for pain to new levels.  7 foot 3 inch, George the Giant and Robin Marks - Master of Mayhem will amaze onlookers as they exhibit their out of this world act of torment and anguish using fire, sledge hammers, swords and anything else they can get their hands on.  

BANG! PrimEvil Percussion they say music calms the savage beast - Our high energy drumming trio will wander the midways of Haunt, taking ordinary objects, combining them with their amazing percussion skills to entertain even the most gruesome monster and guests alike.

Dave Hill's Haunted Hypnotics It's show time!  Let master hypnotist Dave Hill Master take you on a trip of physical relaxation combined with mental concentration.  Beware of his hypnotic powers as you become part of the show.  He is out to put a spell on you, but whatever you do... don't fall too deep into his trance

Halloween Haunt at California's Great America is a special ticketed event, requires a separate ticket for admission and is not recommended for wimps or children under 13 years of age.  General admission is $41.99 for all ages. Halloween Haunt ticket holders looking to gravely enhance their experience can also take part in a Pre-Scare "Boofet" Dinner. This all-you-can-eat dining option features a special themed meal followed by early entry into Haunt a few minutes before it opens to the public. The Pre-Scare "Boofet" is 13 bones ($13) per victim plus tax when purchased in advance online.
