Call for Entries: 'Badaling Cup' China Great Wall Photography Competition

BEIJING, Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- "Badaling Cup", the China Great Wall Photography Competition, is being co-hosted by Badaling DC Office, Badaling Tourism Head Office and China Great Wall Museum. The CRI Online Travel website is the exclusive supporting media. The purpose is to show a real, vivid, beautiful Great Wall to the world. The closing date for entries is 28th February 2011.

The Photography Competition is open to entrants from all over the world.

2. Age and color of the photographs are not restricted. The theme of the photographs must focus on landscape, history, culture, folk art or local customs surrounding the Great Wall.
3. Photographs taken with either a digital or a film camera will be accepted. Size of film photograph is 12 inches long, glossy print; Images must be no less than 2 MB (JPEG format). Entrants must ensure that images which they hold must be a minimum of 3000 pixels at 300 dpi. Film is not accepted and images cannot be mounted.
4. There is no entry fee, but the images will not be returned.
5. By entering the competition you grant organizers a non-exclusive irrevocable license to reproduce, enlarge, publish or exhibit, on any media, the images for any purpose connected with the competition. No payment will be made to the winners for the use of their images by the organizers.
6. The entrant must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all images entered.
7. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of all the terms and conditions above. The Organizing Committee of the Contest has the right of the final interpretation.

Prizes:

Gold Award (two winners): The winner will get 20,000 RMB.
Silver Award (five winners): The winner will get 8,000 RMB.
Bronze Award (ten winners): The winner will get 3,000 RMB.
Honorable mention (100 winners): The winner will get 200 RMB.
