CalUniversity Celebrates National Safety and Harmony Month

DIAMOND BAR, Calif., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- California InterContinental University (CalUniversity) CEO and Co-Chairman Dr. Shaan Kumar celebrated World Safety and Harmony Month by honoring Dr. Khalil BineBine with its 2010 Quality Service Excellence Award.

During their "K-Day" event last Tuesday, CalUniversity CEO and Co-Chairman Dr. Shaan Kumar welcomed former personal physician to Malcolm Forbes and now global investor Dr. Khalil BineBine to CalUniversity. During the event Dr. Kumar presented Dr. BineBine with the school's 2010 "Quality Service Excellence Award" for his leadership in business and philanthropic work throughout the world.

Dr. BineBine, Vice Chairman of the Vickers Capital Group, oversees the group's investor relations. A lifelong believer in the importance of higher education, Dr. BineBine himself graduated from medical school in 1984 and moved to Manhattan. During his time in New York, he worked as the personal physician to Malcolm Forbes. As his physician, he was also able to venture out and develop contacts and experience as an investor. Having raised billions as an investor, he finds supporting the efforts of businesses that give back appealing, especially those that provide education to the masses.
