Both cards are consumers' choice for second consecutive year
CALGARY, Dec. 4, 2014 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced that consumers have once again voted the WestJet RBC World Elite MasterCard and WestJet RBC MasterCard Canada's top travel rewards credit cards in the airline category, according to RewardsCanada.ca.
More than 18,000 Canadians voted for their favourite travel rewards credit cards in five categories during the month of October 2014. The WestJet RBC World Elite MasterCard and WestJet RBC MasterCard finished first and second on a list of 18 cards in the airline category. Overall, there are more than 80 travel rewards credit cards in Canada.

The number-one-ranked WestJet RBC World Elite MasterCard allows cardholders to earn WestJet dollars for every purchase made that can be redeemed in any amount, to anywhere WestJet flies, at any time. The card also offers a welcome bonus of $250 WestJet dollars and an annual companion flight for $99, plus applicable taxes, fees and charges. WestJet RBC World Elite MasterCard holders, as well as up to eight additional guests travelling on the same reservation, are also entitled to check a first bag at no charge.
