Cancer Clinical Trials Expert Dr. Santosh Kesari to Assist Regen BioPharma, Inc. in Addressing FDA Questions Regarding Planned dCellVax Immunotherapy Clinical Trial for Breast Cancer
SAN DIEGO, Calif., June 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Regen BioPharma, Inc. (OTCBB: RGBP) (OTC: RGBP) announced today the initiation of a collaboration with Dr. Santosh Kesari , Professor and Director of Neuro-oncology at University of California San Diego . The goals of the collaboration is to address questions posed by the FDA regarding Regn BioPharma, Inc.'s planned Phase I/II clinical trial assessing safety with signals of efficacy of the dCellVax gene silenced dendritic cell immunotherapy for treating breast cancer and to modify the existing Investigational New Drug application in order to maximize the probability of clinical trial success . The proposed trial will recruit 10 patients with metastatic breast cancer and will involve 4 monthly injections of the dCellVax gene-silenced dendritic cell therapy. The trial will last one year, with tumor assessment before therapy and at 6 and 12 months.
