CannTrust Announces Change to Board of Directors

VAUGHAN, ON, March 12, 2021 /PRNewswire/ - CannTrust Holdings Inc. ("CannTrust" or the "Company") announced today that Mark Litwin has resigned from the Company's board of directors (the "Board") and the boards of directors of all subsidiaries.

In addition, Stan Abramowitz, the Secretary of the Company, has resigned as an officer of CannTrust and as a director or officer of all subsidiaries. The Board has appointed David Blair, who is CannTrust's interim Chief Financial Officer, as the Secretary of the Company.

CannTrust remains under CCAA protection to facilitate its efforts to resolve its civil litigation claims and complete its review of strategic alternatives, which includes a review of financing options. Aspects of the ongoing efforts remain confidential, and the Company is unable to predict with any certainty either their timing or outcome.
