Canon U.S.A. Announces Filmmaker Anna Akana As Its Next Rebel With A Cause, Continuing A Year-Long Celebration Of The 25th Anniversary Of The Canon EOS Rebel SLR Camera

MELVILLE, N.Y., June 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Anna Akana and Canon U.S.A., Inc., together announced that Akana will become the latest personality featured in the "Rebel With A Cause" initiative, which celebrates 25 years since the introduction of Canon's first EOS Rebel SLR camera. Following in the footsteps of American daredevil Nik Wallenda and GRAMMY^® Award winning record producer Swizz Beatz, Akana, a strong proponent of anti-bullying and suicide prevention, will be featured in a video dedicated to her own unique cause, debuting in September.
