Cantor Data Services Launches Cantor Fantasy Sports™

NEW YORK, Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Data Services, a subsidiary of Cantor Fitzgerald, today announced the launch of Cantor Fantasy Sports™, a new fantasy sports solution with opportunities to participate in multiple free and pay daily and weekly fantasy leagues. This new suite of games, available at: http://www.cantorfantasysports.com, uses sophisticated algorithms to create a unique fantasy line that combines fair play with competitive balance, allowing fantasy sports fanatics the ultimate experience. Cantor Fantasy Sports™ will feature three leagues: Cantor Top Tier™ and Cantor 7™ available immediately, and Cantor 5™, which will launch October 30, 2012.

Cantor Top Tier™, a weekly fantasy football league, offers users ten tiers with six players on each tier, each grouped by a similar fantasy value. Participants can select one player from each tier to form their fantasy football team. After the first game begins, participants can monitor their fantasy points based performance on a side by side live scoreboard. Participants can draft as many rosters and enter them in as many leagues as they would like.

The Cantor 7™ League platform, a weekly fantasy football league, allows users to select their desired roster of seven players consisting of: one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one kicker and a defense, to build the ultimate NFL fantasy football team. Cantor Fantasy Sports™ will generate a fantasy line so users can compare their team's fantasy line against an opposing user.  The fantasy scores of all players will be added up and the fantasy line is applied to determine the winner. Users will be able to view their performance against their opponent on a side by side live scoreboard and can challenge multiple opponents.

The Cantor 5™ League platform, which will launch October 30 when the NBA season begins, will be a daily fantasy basketball league. Users will be able to select a team of five players consisting of one center, two forwards and two guards. A fantasy line will be given for two teams. The fantasy scores of all users will be added up and the fantasy line is applied to determine the winner.
