Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Appoints Jeffrey Lumby As Head of Equity Capital Markets

NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading global financial services firm, announced today that Jeffrey Lumby has been appointed Head of Equity Capital Markets.  Mr. Lumby, who will report to Shawn P. Matthews, Chief Executive Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., will work closely with Jarred Kessler, Global Head of Equities, and with Cantor's Investment Banking team, led by Steven L. Kantor, Executive Managing Director and Global Head of Investment Banking, in creating tailored services for growth-oriented clients and driving the continuing growth of Cantor's business.

Mr. Lumby, who joined Cantor in 2001, most recently served as a Senior Managing Director with responsibility for the firm's Controlled Equity Offering(SM) ("CEO") product, Cantor's at-the-market ("ATM") structure that allows public companies to access the equity capital markets efficiently and cost-effectively. In addition to continuing to oversee the CEO(SM) product, Mr. Lumby will be responsible for equity linked origination and execution on behalf of clients.

In conjunction with Mr. Lumby's appointment, Joshua R. Feldman has been promoted to Managing Director and will continue to focus on Cantor's CEO product and other capital markets transactions. Mr. Feldman has been involved in more than 80 at-the-market offerings and has been instrumental in bringing this capital-raising method to corporate clients.  Mr. Feldman is a graduate of Columbia University.
