Cantor Fitzgerald Expands Footprint with Office in Birmingham
NEW YORK, Jan. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading financial services firm, today announced the expansion of its footprint with the opening of a new office in Birmingham, Alabama. Tracy Hunt, Jonathan Doss, Jay Simpson and Counce Drinkard, all of who join Cantor Fitzgerald from BBVA Compass, will be based in the Birmingham office.

Mr. Hunt joins Cantor as Managing Director, and will focus on Institutional Sales. He most recently served as a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Global Credit at BBVA Compass, where he focused on developing balance sheet strategies that optimize asset/liability management, capital adequacy, and regulatory guidelines. Prior to that, he worked at Vining Sparks IBG in Institutional Fixed Income Sales. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, and holds a B.A. from the University of Memphis.
Mr. Doss joins Canter as Director, and will focus on Institutional Sales. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Global Credit at BBVA Compass. He began his career at SouthTrust Securities in Birmingham. He holds a B.A. in Corporate Finance from The University of Alabama.
Mr. Simpson joins Cantor as Director, and will focus on middle market accounts and Agency Backed Products. Mr. Simpson previously served as Vice President of Fixed Income Sales at BBVA Compass.
Mr. Drinkard joins Cantor as Vice President, and specializes in working with depository and non-depository institutions to create personalized portfolio strategy for buying or selling fixed income products. He most recently served at BBVA Compass, where he focused on institutional credit and global market sales. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Alabama.
