Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach Residence Sales Cross The Century Mark
More than 100 sales in 10 months
MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Sept. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Increasing sales momentum of residences at Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach has translated to more than 100 sales since October 2010. With continued interest from U.S. and non-U.S. buyers alike, the number of new residences that are available for ownership is nearing 100 units in the North Tower, which opened in March, with no end to interested buyers in sight.
"The pace of sales has been tremendous," said Michael Sadov, Real Estate Sales Director at Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach. "Prices being paid are near the top of the market, and some residences have closed at prices that would be considered very good in a strong market."
Sadov and Pordes Residential principal Mark Pordes were hired less than a year ago to market the property. The efforts have successfully positioned Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach and its healthy lifestyle community ahead of many South Florida developments that were slashing prices and enticing bargain hunters.
"We have not cut special deals and did not sell to speculators," said Pordes. "We offered the luxury lifestyle of healthy living that makes Canyon Ranch unique in this market to buyers from all over the world."
The people who have purchased residences are looking to embrace a better lifestyle, Pordes said. "They have become owners, because they want to achieve a higher sense of physical, mental and emotional well-being," he said. "They are purchasing here because no other community offers the same experience."
One, two and three-bedroom residences have sold for prices ranging from $425,000 to $2.6 million to buyers from the Northeast, South Florida, the Americas and Europe. Remaining availability in the new North Tower stands at about 100 units with prices starting at $435,000 for one bedrooms, $635,000 for 2 bedrooms and $1.33 million for 3 bedrooms.
"Buyers from Brazil and elsewhere have discovered Canyon Ranch and are choosing to stay," Pordes said. "They are finding a quality of life in an oceanfront setting that is not available in their own countries."
The popularity of Canyon Ranch has resulted in the sell-out of the South Tower and all but a few residences in the Central Tower. "We are at a point where the ongoing demand for the best ocean views and the most desirable floor designs will outstrip the supply," Sadov said. "We expect another surge of buyers from the Northeast this fall and continued interest here from South Florida residents. By this time next year, who knows how many new residences will remain?"
