Capital Forensics Hires Compliance & Regulatory Legal Expert to Lead West Coast Expansion

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., Aug. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Forensics, Inc. (CFI), the leader in providing expert testimony, litigation support, compliance consulting and data surveillance, announced today that Eric Hagler, J.D., joined their executive team as managing director based in Newport Beach, CA. Hagler will lead their expansion by focusing on CFI's client relationships in the Western Region.

Hagler has more than 26 years of legal, regulatory, business and HR leadership roles.  He began his career selling municipal bonds while attending law school. Hagler then became a state prosecutor and later opened an eponymous law firm, a multi-state litigation practice. His extensive judicial experience includes serving as Magistrate Judge and Special Associate Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court.

Hagler was vice-president and general counsel at Wedbush Morgan Securities, Inc., and partner and general counsel for Los Angeles-based Crowell, Weedon & Co. Before CFI, Hagler was president and Chief Legal Officer of an independent BD/RIA. He has provided legal advice to corporate executives, including mergers/acquisitions of broker-dealers, SEC, FINRA, and state regulatory matters.
