Capital Insurance Group® Appoints Christine Oliver as Agency Development Manager for Northern California

MONTEREY, Calif., May 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Insurance Group^® (CIG), the leading regional property and casualty insurer serving the Western U.S., announced the appointment of Christine Oliver as Agency Development Manager, a key position focusing on business support and development for the company's Bay Area Territory. Working primarily with agents in the East Bay, Monterey Peninsula and the Salinas Valley, Oliver will work to maximize ease of business and agency compensation.

Oliver has developed a wealth of insurance industry knowledge while working in P&C agencies and companies in Bay Area communities over the last 15 years. Beginning her 25-plus year career on the East Coast with a noted workers' compensation bureau, she also has been an insurance buyer with an international corporation, a self-insured claims manager with a national TPA firm, and a professional liability underwriting manager. Oliver earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL and holds a CRIS designation.
