CIG Recruits Eckert to Oversee All Lines of Business in Ventura Territory
MONTEREY, Calif., June 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Insurance Group® (CIG), the leading regional property and casualty insurer serving the Western U.S., has announced the appointment of Todd Eckert to the position of Agency Development Manager for the Ventura Territory in Southern California. Eckert, replacing the retiring John Higbee after 14 years of service, will provide a vital point of contact for CIG appointed agencies throughout the region and will focus on developing effective planning, training and support solutions.

Eckert has an extensive background in improving production and profit for national and regional P&C carriers in a variety of roles, including as an underwriter, e-business marketing manager, product and portfolio manager, and agency manager. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hanover College.
With the addition of Eckert, CIG's Southern California Regional Team is continuing its efforts to maximize agency compensation and ease of doing business for all CIG appointed Independent Agents' Agri-Business, Personal Lines and Commercial Lines account needs.
