Capital Insurance Group Names Andrew Doll as Vice President and Chief Actuary
CIG Board of Directors Appoints Doll to New Executive Leadership Position
MONTEREY, Calif., June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Insurance Group® (CIG), the leading regional property and casualty insurer serving the Western U.S., announced its board-decision appointment of Andrew Doll as the company's Vice President and Chief Actuary. Doll joins the executive team including: L. Arnold Chatterton, President and CEO; Walter Bennett, Vice President of Underwriting; Tom Scherff, Vice President of Claims, Government Relations and Franchise Markets; Gray Tyndall, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer; Rads Mydam, Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Officer.

After beginning his insurance career as an Actuarial Analyst in 1990, Doll began working for a Midwestern-based national insurance company as a Senior Actuarial Analyst in 1992, ultimately taking on a field role as a Regional Actuary. In 1995, he joined a Wisconsin based regional property and casualty insurance provider and was subsequently promoted from Assistant Vice President of Specialty Lines Underwriting and eventually to Vice President and Chief Actuary. Doll has since held executive management positions for national insurance carriers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and is a Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society.
