Capricor's HOPE-DUCHENNE trial, which is currently open for enrollment, is a randomized open-label usual care controlled multi-center study evaluating the safety and preliminary efficacy of CAP-1002 in patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy-associated cardiomyopathy. CAP-1002 is Capricor's allogeneic, cardiosphere-derived cell (CDC) therapy being studied in clinical trials for the treatment of various types of heart disease.
