Capsule Reports Record Setting Year for Medical Device Integration

In 2014, the company added 190 new hospitals to the Capsule family, a 23% increase from 2013. Capsule added connectivity to 34,741 beds, which is a 17% increase over 2013 and the most in any one year in the company's 18-year history. Of the connected beds, over half are enterprise-wide licensed, indicating a significant shift in MDIS implementation to include lower acuity care hospital units, such as med-surg.
