KANNAPOLIS, N.C., April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions, a managed care organization that focuses on high-tech, high-touch service delivery, is featuring its highly successful model for delivering behavioral health services during the National Council for Behavioral Health's annual National Conference (NATCON). The event, which takes place April 20–22, 2015, at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., attracts participants from mental health and addiction treatment organizations from around the country.
"At Cardinal Innovations, we leverage a deep knowledge of our complex healthcare system to develop customized plans that deliver the best outcomes for those we serve," said Steve Timmons, executive vice president and chief administration officer, Cardinal Innovations. "We look forward to exhibiting at NATCON, where we will have the opportunity to discuss our array of capabilities with other industry leaders and share learnings on the development and implementation of Cardinal Innovations' model of managed care."
For 10 years, Cardinal Innovations has had great success in the operation of a Medicaid Managed Care waiver in the state of North Carolina, redefining managed care through a hands-on and compassionate approach. In 2005, the North Carolina General Assembly endorsed the Cardinal Innovations model as the basis for the statewide expansion of the Medicaid Managed Care waiver. This included significant savings to taxpayers, positive consumer outcomes and reinvestment in additional services for the people and the communities Cardinal Innovations serves.
During NATCON, Cardinal Innovations will co-exhibit with two of its newest strategic partners, M3 Information and Ieso Digital Health (formerly Psychology Online). Cardinal Innovations is committed to enhancing access to behavioral health therapy and through its alliance with Ieso, is raising awareness of how virtual therapy can give people the opportunity to access care quickly and confidentially. Ieso provides digitally-enhanced mental health services to health providers, private individuals and businesses offering discreet and confidential one-to-one therapy via an interactive online service.
Cardinal will co-market M3 Information's assessment tool, M3 Clinician, as a best practice among its premier managed care provider network in North Carolina, helping clinicians learn about and utilize the tool to improve patient outcomes. M3 Clinician empowers providers with an evidence-based assessment via web and mobile, that detects symptoms of behavioral health conditions, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, PTSD and alcohol use.
Representatives from all three companies will be available for on-site meetings in booth #325 throughout the conference. NATCON is the nation's premier specialty healthcare conference, attended by executives, board members, and staff from the nation's community mental health and addiction treatment organizations. Each year, this event features the latest innovations, science and business and clinical best practices. About 4,500 professionals are expected to attend.
