Career Systems International Names C. Patrick Smith as Co-CEO

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Career Systems International (CSi) announced that effective immediately it has named C. Patrick Smith to the position of Co-Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Smith will join company founder, Dr. Beverly Kaye, in leading the company. "We are pleased to announce this important change to our management team and ownership structure," said Dr. Kaye. Pat has more than 30 years of experience in the field of training and consulting with a focus in market development, marketing, and sales management. Smith began his career at McDonnell Douglas Corporation where he held regional and national leadership roles in a number of business units. He then joined Development Dimensions International (DDI), a global leader in the field of leadership and executive development, where he was responsible for the global learning and development business. Smith also served as CEO of Behavioral Science Technology (BST) where he led the firm to triple-digit growth and rapid international expansion from 2003-2007, and the David Allen Company from 2007-2011. Most recently Smith was CEO of UP! Your Service, a rapidly growing training/consulting firm based in Singapore.

Smith holds a Master's degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor's degree in business from the University of Puget Sound. In his spare time Pat enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, reading, and an occasional round of golf.
