The hospitals are Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans and University Medical Center of New Orleans. MOC is a non-profit organization with a mission to bring live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. Since 1999, MOC volunteer and world famous musicians have performed for over 675,000 patients, families and caregivers across the United States. Musicians On Call is looking for both Volunteer Guides and Volunteer Musicians to participate in the program. Volunteer Guides escort Volunteer Musicians from room-to-room during the Bedside Performance Programs within hospitals or healthcare facilities. Volunteer Musicians deliver the healing power of music by performing acoustically for patients, their families and staff.
