
Carlos Obando Joins Northwest Asset Management
SEATTLE, March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercer Island-based Northwest Asset Management announced today investment industry veteran Carlos L. Obando, has joined the firm.
Prior to joining Northwest Asset Management, Mr. Obando of UBS Financial Services Inc., based in Seattle, Washington, managed the strategic allocation strategy for institutions and high new worth clients. Before that, he was a Vice President of Wealth Management and a Senior Portfolio Manager with Smith Barney. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Duke University and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard.
Mr. Obando explained the decision to move his investment advisory practice to Northwest Asset Management was one of fiduciary responsibility.
