The Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana was formed in 1984 to protect and promote worldwide the "True Napelotana Pizza" as defined by the ingredients, traditions and methods used centuries ago by master pizza makers (Pizzaioli) in Naples, Italy. The passion and traditions for this craft are revered, and continue to be passed down from generation to generation.

With VPN certification, Carmelina 'e…San Marzano® Italian Whole Peeled Tomatoes, joins an elite group of products approved by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. Each supplier's products are carefully reviewed by the VPN Board and analyzed for authenticity by the Department of Food Science, Faculty of Agriculture of the University Federico II of Naples, Italy.
