WARSAW, N.C., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Carolina Soy Products, LLC has changed its company name to Whole Harvest Foods, LLC. The name change more accurately reflects the company's transition from a soy meal plant to the maker of healthy, hexane free soy and canola cooking oils. All company products and operational processes will remain unaltered.
"We are excited to transition our company name to Whole Harvest Foods," said Bob Dawson, Chief Operating Officer of Whole Harvest Foods. "We anticipate that our new name will be well received by our customers and vendors."
Whole Harvest Foods, LLC is the producer of the Whole Harvest line of no Trans-fat culinary oils. Made from 100 percent pure oils, Whole Harvest uses an expeller-pressed approach that does not involve hexane, a flammable solvent typically used in the production of most cooking oils. In addition to being all-natural, the Whole Harvest line of culinary oils is not hydrogenated, the process that creates harmful Trans-fats shown to play a key role in the development of heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Whole Harvest cooking oils are cost competitive and have longer shelf and fry lives than the leading standard hydrogenated cooking oils.
The Whole Harvest line of culinary oils is available in soy and canola and includes Whole Harvest SmartFry® (commercial frying oil), Whole Harvest Culinary Oil (salads, sauteing and baking), Whole Harvest SmartCoat® (non-stick pan spray), and Whole Harvest Liquid Butter Alternative.
Whole Harvest is available commercially and for home use. For more information on Whole Harvest or to purchase Whole Harvest oils online, visit www.WholeHarvest.com.
