The survey showed the five most valuable categories for small business owners are business (34%), followed by travel (21%), then office supplies (18%), then computers and electronics (12%) and, finally, Internet and software (9%). The remaining six percent was divided among several categories.
"Many small business owners try our website for the first time to book a flight or to buy an ink cartridge, but it doesn't take them long to realize they can use it to buy pretty much anything they buy online," said Panda CashBack Marketing Manager James Parker.
"E-Commerce websites that purchase their supplies online from B2B websites tend to find us one of their most valuable resources," he said.
Parker said the company is working on a privileged membership level that will allow small business owners to double their savings.
The survey was conducted online within the United States by the Panda CashBack Marketing team. A total of 109 small business owners were contacted. This online survey is not based on a probability sample. Therefore, no estimate of theoretical sampling error can be calculated.
