Cash Store Sponsors NCR Sprint for Cancer to Benefit Young Texans Against Cancer

IRVING, Texas, April 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cash Store, a Texas based consumer financial services provider, announced today that it is sponsoring the 2013 NCR Sprint for Cancer Dallas/Fort Worth Race, which raises funds for Young Texans Against Cancer. The event will be held on Sat., April 20, 2013 at the Urban Towers in Las Colinas near Lake Carolyn, 222 Las Colinas Boulevard in Irving, Texas. The fun walk/run begins at 8 a.m. followed by the 5K & 10K at 8:30 a.m.

In the past four years, the event has raised more than $104,000, which has been donated to Young Texans Against Cancer, a non-profit group comprised of young men and women who are affected directly or indirectly by cancer.  The group supports the cancer community in various ways, including raising funds to support research-based organizations as well as small-to-medium sized organizations, increasing support for volunteer organizations, and raising awareness about cancer research.

In addition to sponsoring the race, Cash Store's Community Care team will participate in the event.
