Casimir Capital Continues its Three-Year Global Expansion Plan

TORONTO, Aug. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Casimir Capital, a premier North American investment bank specializing in natural resources, officially announced today that it has added top industry talent and has initiated its expansion into Europe, now giving it a presence on four continents.

Casimir Capital is joined by well-known industry veterans Karen Mate, Stuart McDougall, Eric Winmill and Charles Vaughan.

Karen Mate leads a team of nearly a dozen institutional sales personnel.  Most recently, Karen spent 15 years at Scotia Capital where she was the Director of Institutional Equity Sales.  Prior to Scotia Capital, Ms. Mate worked at NBC Levesque International and Marleau Lemire.

As the latest additions to Casimir Capital's equity research team, Stuart McDougall and Eric Winmill boast over 30 years of collective mining research and capital markets experience at major Canadian investment banks, including National Bank Financial, GMP Securities, Jennings Capital and Wellington West Capital Markets.
