Casino Veteran Michael J. Broderick Named New Executive Director of Marketing at Ohkay Hotel and Casino

OHKAY OWINGEH, N.M., May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael J. Broderick has been named Executive Director of Marketing at Ohkay Hotel and Casino. He will be responsible for overseeing marketing, promotions, entertainment, customer relationship management, advertising and public relations for the Northern New Mexico property, including the 101-room Ohkay hotel and 12,000 square foot convention center. His appointment was announced by Steve Penhall, General Manager of the hotel-casino.

Broderick brings over 20 years of gaming experience to Ohkay Hotel and Casino. He joined the property from the Hard Rock Hotel – Casino Albuquerque where he served as executive director of marketing and entertainment.

Prior to Hard Rock Casino-Hotel Albuquerque, Broderick served as the director of marketing and promotions for Seminole Classic Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida, and director of marketing for Lake of the Torches Resort Casino in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin. He has also held numerous executive management positions in gaming throughout his 20+ year career including tenures in Rhode Island, Colorado, Oregon and for the Trump Organization in Southern California.

Broderick is Harvard University Graduate School certified, and he received his bachelor's degree and M.B.A. in business management from California Coast University in Santa Ana, California and his associate in science degree in business administration from the Corporacion National de Education Professional in Santiago, Chile. He is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
