Castle Resorts & Hotels Announces Staff Promotions and New Appointments

HONOLULU, March 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Castle Resorts & Hotels is pleased to announce the following changes in managerial staff.

Joe Bock has been appointed Senior Director of Marketing.  He will be responsible for strategic planning and marketing services for the Castle brand and the individual Castle properties, media buying, promotions, partnership, travel trade and consumer loyalty programs, public relations, and eCommerce. Mr. Bock will also lead some special projects for the Company, including online reputation management and assisting the president with business development and external/internal growth strategies.  Mr. Bock most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer of go! Mokulele, a Hawai'i regional airline, since its June, 2006 launch where he was responsible for establishing the go! brand, the company's reservations and customer service departments, and managing eCommerce, sales, advertising, public relations, and partnership marketing efforts.  Mr. Bock began his career in the travel industry by joining the legal department at Mesa Air Group, Inc. as staff counsel until moving to Hawai'i for the go! start-up.  

Jordan Joanou has been promoted to Senior Director of Revenue Management.  Mr. Joanou is responsible for maximizing total room revenue at each property by focusing and driving all of the sales and marketing efforts via channel distribution, inventory control and dynamic pricing.  Mr. Joanou has over twenty-eight years of experience in the Hawai'i hotel industry. Prior to joining the Castle team he served nine years with Hilton Hawaiian Village and before that seven years with Turtle Bay Resort.

Craig Leeper has joined Castle Resorts & Hotels as the General Manager of Rental Operations at Kona Bali Kai on the island of Hawai'i.  He has worked successfully in development and resort operations, including food and beverage and restaurant management for twenty years.  Mr. Leeper's extensive experience and skill earned him accolades with various rental management companies such as Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Shell Vacations Hawaii, and Marc Resorts Hawaii.  He most recently served as the operations manager at Hawaii Executive Homes in Kailua-Kona.
