CASTS OF ORIGINAL LEONARDO DA VINCI SCULPTURE NOW AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC

LAS VEGAS, March 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The owners of the only sculpture authenticated to be from the hand of the Renaissance master, Leonardo da Vinci, are announcing the availability of a limited edition of casts for public purchase beginning March 10, 2025. Prior sales of casts have been exclusive to private/customer collectors only. The original bronze artwork, titled 'Horse and Rider', valued at $100 million resides in a bank vault in Las Vegas. The original beeswax sculpture, circa 1508, was authenticated in 1985 by renowned Renaissance expert Professor Carlo Pedretti and currently resides in a private collection in London, England.

Production of the casts is the task of the highly respected foundry, American Fine Arts, Inc.. Burbank, CA. American Fine Arts, Inc. was selected because of its history of exceptional quality and renowned artists. "Each cast is exact to the original." Stated AFA's CEO Brett Barney, "Sculpture details include a fingerprint thought to be Leonardo's and Leonardo's signature, both plainly visible on each cast," Barney continued. "It is a remarkable piece of historical value."

Worldwide sales are handled by Art encounter, a 32 year art gallery/dealer headquartered in Las Vegas. "The edition of casts is very small when considering the importance of the artwork." reports Rod Maly, CEO of Art encounter. Maly added, "78% of our first release of 50 bronze casts has been sold, and the first release of 25 silver is sold out." Each cast is individually numbered, registered for security, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity which will warrant that this is an exclusive artwork. Once the remaining casts have been sold, no more casts will ever be made.
